postcard - black and white - Bridgnorth and Wheatland Hunt steeple chase meeting. Horse racing had taken place on Morfe Common 1717 - 1811, Innage 1812-1830, Tasley 1830-39, then less frequently. Occasionally races took place at Cross Lane Head and Quatford. Farlow and Trumper 'Around Bridgnorth' attribute these scenes to c.1910 at Tasley. The Paddock picture was sent on 9th July, 1906 to a Miss C.L. Massie, Lodge Farm, Dudmaston, Bridgnorth. Published by Stengal & Co. London EC. Postcard publishers.
