Gadsby is listed in Trade Directories 1926, 1934, 1937 as hosier, draper, haberdasher, general hardware merchant and china, glass and earthenware dealer at 37 High Street. also jeweller and silversmith at 38 High Street, Bridgnorth. C.B. Roden is listed in Trade Directories of 1926 and 1937 as grocer at 72 High Street, Bridgnorth. Reuben G. Stanier if not listed in the commercial entires, but he is in the selection of private residents at 7 Whitburn Street, where in the 1926 Trade Directory of commercial entires Mrs Lucy Stanier is entered as confectioner.
