photograph - black and white - The Old Friars's Inn, 52 Friar Street, Bridgnorth. Had cellars and caves behind. Opended early 19th century. Sign removed by brewery 1957. Became the private house of Mr and Mrs Crosby. Now divided into more than one dwelling and rendered. Premises consosted of a smoke room, parlour and bar. There was an earler Inn by the same name across the road, in part of the Friary, which was demolished for Southwell Carpet Factory, now housing.
