Bronze Gouge, Eardington Hoard.

The 'Eardington Hoard' was found in 1925, four feet below ground in a small quarry in Eardington, by a Mr Price of Friar Street Bridgnorth. It included a bronze socketed gouge, a bronze socketed chisel and two bronze looped and ribbed palstaves, all dating from the late Bronze Age, c.1000-500 B.C.
